Dr Carter-Allison is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked within Clinical Neuropsychology since completing her doctorate in 2015. She holds a First Class Master of Arts degree in Psychology, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuoscience, Kings College London, and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology, with Distinction, from the University of Bristol.
In her clinical roles, Dr Carter-Allison has worked in her range of inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on delivering personalised and creative rehabilitation programmes to support people in their recovery and management of neurological disorders. Her work has included roles within highly specialist rehabilitation services for neurobehavioural and neuropsychological changes following neurological conditions and acquired and traumatic brain injuries.
Dr Carter-Allison is an experienced and well regarded longstanding member of the Psychologia Ltd team, and enjoys working with a range of clients delivering both comprehensive neuropsychological and cognitive assessments, and neurorehabilitation and therapeutic interventions. She has provided key services for the Psychologia Ltd Medico-legal Service in an assessing and treating clinician role for over 5 years, and currently co-leads the Psychologia Functional Neurological Disorders Service.
Dr Carter-Allison has remained active in research and teaching, presenting a number of posters at conferences and delivering teaching on neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation at St George’s Medical School.
